My name is Erin, and I am currently a senior at Temple University
in Philadelphia, PA. I major in Broadcast Journalism, and focus on
technical directing and production. I'll be graduating in January, 2004.
I interned at a small television station in Lehighton, PA,
and worked with the technical directors in the summer of 2003. (PS: Thanks for being great teachers.)
At Temple, I am the news director of the on-campus, student-run radio station, WHIP 91.3 FM. I also create and run graphics for Temple's weekly news program, Temple Update. Click the link at the bottom of the page to go there.
I came to Philadelphia in August 2000 to attend the University of the Arts. I transferred to Temple in January 2002.
I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Background
Born and raised in rural North Eastern PA. Mom and Dad are at home with our cats, Charlie (part Maine Coon) and Pogo (silver brindle), and two fish.
At the University of the Arts, I studied Writing for Film and Television for a year, then changed my major to Communications, where I studied photography for a semester. When things didn't work out at UArts, I transferred to Temple and am graduating a semester early.
